CDN + Security + Caching Management

CDN Performance Optimization

We set up and maintain external CDN services like Cloudflare and Amazon CloudFront to make your site faster, more resilient, and better protected. You keep full ownership: you pay the provider directly and grant us admin-level access so we can configure everything properly.

  • One-time setup fee
Architecture, DNS/CDN onboarding, caching & security configuration, testing.
  • Ongoing maintenance
Monitoring, rule tuning, cache strategy updates, incident support & periodic reviews.

What this service is

A CDN is a distributed network that caches content close to visitors to reduce latency and improve load times—especially for images, CSS/JS, and downloadable assets.

Cloudflare (CDN + App Security)

Great for “all-in-one” performance and security (DNS/proxy/CDN + WAF/rate limiting/bot protection and more).

AWS CloudFront (CDN)

Excellent for AWS-based stacks or multi-origin architectures; supports different origin types and can integrate with AWS WAF for request inspection.

Important: We are not reselling Cloudflare/AWS. Your CDN account and billing remain yours, and we operate under your permissions.

How it works

  1. 1) Access & discovery

You create/own the Cloudflare or AWS account and add us with admin-level access. We review your site/app, traffic patterns, and hosting/origin setup.

  2. 2) Architecture & plan

We define what should be cached, what must stay dynamic, how to handle cookies/headers, what security policies you need, and how to protect the origin.

  3. 3) Implementation

We configure CDN, DNS/proxy, TLS, caching rules, compression, image/media strategy, and security controls (WAF/rate limiting/bots) where applicable.

  4. 4) Testing & rollout

We test cache hit rates, headers, logged-in behavior, checkout flows, and error handling; then we roll out gradually and validate performance improvements.

What’s included

Performance & caching

  • • Cache strategy (static assets, HTML where safe, API responses where appropriate)
  • • Cache keys, headers, cookies, query string rules
  • • Compression and modern content delivery best practices
  • • Purge / invalidation workflows for safe releases
  • • Origin protection patterns to reduce origin load

Security hardening

  • • TLS/SSL configuration and redirects
  • • WAF policy setup (managed rules + custom rules as needed)
  • • Rate limiting and abuse controls
  • • Bot mitigation strategy (where applicable)
  • • DDoS resilience baseline configuration

Cloudflare includes a suite of application security products (WAF, rate limiting, L7 DDoS, bot management, etc.).

CloudFront-specific (if you choose AWS)

  • • Distribution setup and origin configuration (S3, ALB, custom origins, more)
  • • Cache behaviors and request/response header policies
  • • AWS WAF integration and ordering considerations
  • • Logging/metrics setup and operational runbooks

Cloudflare-specific (if you choose Cloudflare)

  • • DNS + proxy setup and safe migration planning
  • • Caching rules and edge configuration
  • • WAF/rate limiting/bot protection baseline
  • • Billing-aware configuration (plans/add-ons managed per your account)

Fees & billing

One-time setup fee

Based on complexity: number of domains, app type (WordPress/eCommerce/custom), caching needs, WAF rules, edge logic, and multi-origin design.

Ongoing maintenance fee

Monthly maintenance covers monitoring, tuning, cache policy updates, security rule adjustments, and support during incidents.

Provider billing

You pay Cloudflare/AWS directly. Cloudflare plans/add-ons are billed per your account/domain, and some services can be usage-based.

CloudFront is billed by AWS based on usage and configuration in your AWS account.

If you want, we can recommend the best provider for your use case: Cloudflare is often best for “one dashboard” CDN + security, while CloudFront is often best for AWS-heavy architectures and multi-origin delivery.

FAQ

Do you resell Cloudflare or CloudFront?
No. You own the provider account and pay the provider directly. We manage setup and configuration under your admin-granted access.
What access do you need?
Admin-level access to the CDN provider (Cloudflare account or AWS account / IAM role) and enough access to your origin hosting/app to validate headers, caching rules, and security behavior.
Will a CDN break my checkout, login, or dynamic pages?
Not when configured correctly. We set conservative caching rules for sensitive/dynamic routes and use cache-control headers, cookie handling, and cache keys to prevent personalized content from being cached.
Can you use both Cloudflare and CloudFront?
Sometimes, yes (for example: CloudFront for large static/media delivery, Cloudflare for DNS/proxy/security, or vice-versa). It increases complexity, so we only recommend it when there’s a clear benefit.
What are common outcomes after setup?
Faster global load times for static assets, reduced origin load due to caching, improved resilience during traffic spikes, and stronger perimeter security controls (WAF/rate limiting/bot mitigation) depending on your chosen provider and plan.
